Small groups, local guide, no crowds.
I am Rafa Mesa, a geographer and naturalist. I have spent years exploring La Albufera and the Valencian territory — first as a researcher, now as a guide — and I've learned that this landscape has much more to tell than what meets the eye.
My routes are small and private because I believe in quality over quantity. I'm not interested in groups of thirty people or quick photo stops. I care that by the end of the day you have understood something you didn't know in the morning — a species, a story, a way of interpreting the territory.
If that's what you're looking for, you're in the right place.
We design the biological, cultural, and gastronomic content based on your interests and the season. You simply decide how long you want to disconnect.
We start with the best light of the day on this nature experience in Valencia. We stroll through rice fields, dunes, and the Devesa forest on foot, identifying endemic birds and plants without rush.

Itineraries may vary depending on environmental conditions, boat availability, or other factors beyond the guide's control. In such cases, the best alternative will always be sought.
A different option for travelers who want to take home something more than mobile photos. During your route through the Albufera, I can accompany you with my 35mm camera and document the experience on analog film — no filters, no retouching. Just the real light of the Valencian landscape captured on photographic film.
You will receive digital scans to share and an authentic memory of your visit to Valencia.
